Michael Barrier, amerikansk jurist, journalist og forfatter, hvis store hobby er tegnefilm og tegneserier. Har bl.a. skrevet Carl Barks and the Art of the Comic Books, From Aargh! to Zap! - Harvey Kurtzman's Visual History of the Comics, The Animated Man - A Life of Walt Disney og Funnybooks. Han udgav fanmagasinet Funnyworld i 1970'erne.
