Fantagraphics Books startede efteråret 2011 serien The Complete Carl Barks Disney Library med Barks' samlede Disney-historier i farver i formatet 190 × 261 mm og ca. 250 sider. Til sammenligning er Guldbøgerne 176 × 255 mm og 192-200 sider, og Hall of Fame-bøgerne er 222 × 261 mm og 184-208 sider.

Bøgerne udgives ikke i kronologisk rækkefølge; men hvert bind indeholder en afgrænset periode og er nummereret i kolofonen, så den færdige serie kan sættes i kronologisk rækkefølge.

Fantagraphics oplyste først, at serien ville blive på 30 bind. Men ifølge kommentarerne i "The Pixilated Parrot" bliver serien på ca. 32 bind.

Historierne er nyfarvelagt af Rich Tommaso.
